This week’s AWS updates deliver powerful enhancements to security, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Application Load Balancer now integrates with CloudFront and built-in WAF, offering advanced security and streamlined application delivery. Backup improves disaster recovery flexibility by enabling S3 backup copying across Regions and accounts. CloudTrail Lake introduces AI-powered log analysis, accelerating troubleshooting and audit workflows. Meanwhile, DynamoDB rolls out warm throughput for better cost management and reduces prices for on-demand throughput and global tables. QuickSight adds self-serve brand customization for more tailored dashboard experiences, and S3 expands storage capacity to support up to 1 million buckets per account.
