This week, IPv6 takes center stage with expanded support across several services, including dual-stack environments in Backup, IPv6 connectivity for Location Service and Recycle Bin, new IPv6 service endpoints in Network Firewall, and full IPv6 integration for Mainframe Modernization and Timestream for InfluxDB.

In other updates, ECS Fargate now supports network fault injection experiments, EKS introduces Node Health Monitoring and Auto-Repair, and EventBridge adds proactive OAuth token refresh for API destinations.
